— The Jobber + QBO people

Your Jobber invoices mark themselves paid.

Since Jobber rebuilt its QuickBooks integration as one-way in 2024, every payment recorded in QBO has to be re-entered into Jobber by hand. We close the loop: when a client pays in QBO, the matching Jobber invoice flips to Paid within seconds.

In the old way, someone opens Jobber, finds the invoice, clicks “Mark as paid.” Six days of pestering from the bookkeeper, maybe longer. SyncBridge does it in two seconds.

— a real shape of a real pain, with names changed

the flow

Three things happen. You watch one.

  1. Today

    Client pays you in QBO

A job is done. The client pays via credit card, ACH, or check — recorded in QuickBooks Online.

  2. Normally

    Jobber doesn't know

Jobber's 2024 QBO integration is one-way only. Your Jobber invoice stays "unpaid" until someone types it in.

  3. With SyncBridge

    Jobber marks it paid automatically

A webhook fires. Invoice numbers are matched (with fuzzy fallback for reschedules). The matching Jobber invoice flips to Paid. Refunds and chargebacks flow the same way.

questions we've answered

The skeptic's page.

Q. Is this the same as Zapier?
No. Generic Zapier flows for QBO → Jobber break on edge cases — reschedules, partial payments, refunds, invoice-number mismatches. SyncBridge is purpose-built for the QBO↔Jobber lifecycle: fuzzy invoice matching, refund handling, and a weekly reconciliation report so nothing slips.
Q. How long does setup take?
Fifteen minutes. Connect QBO and Jobber via OAuth. Map your invoice number format (we auto-detect most). Run a test on a staging invoice. Enable sync. Done.
Q. What if Jobber fixes this themselves?
Jobber has explicitly documented the one-way design as intentional — to prevent "sync loops." They're not planning to reverse it. If they ever do, your subscription stops and we refund the unused time.
Q. Does this work for cash and check payments?
Yes, as long as the payment lands in QuickBooks. When you mark a check deposited in QBO, the sync fires to Jobber.
Q. What's the launch price?
$19/month flat. No per-transaction fees. No tiered limits. Founding members get the first two months free and a permanent price lock.
